Privacy Policy

This policy says what Ability Resource collects through this website, its telephone number and its text messages, what we do with it, and what we will not do.

Last revised October 18, 2026.

Visiting this website

You can read this website without giving us anything. It sets no cookies, and it has no advertising, no analytics service and no third-party scripts. Our hosting and network providers keep ordinary access logs, which include your IP address, for security and to fix faults, and they are not used for anything else.

Text messages

If you sign up on our text messages page, we collect your name and mobile number and record that you agreed, with the date and time. We use your mobile number only to send you account notifications about your own account or services with us. We stop texting you, and mark your number as opted out, when you reply STOP or ask us to stop.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, text message opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the telephone provider that delivers our messages.

Calling us

When you call (808) 867-2008 and no one can answer, you can leave a voicemail. The voicemail is recorded and transcribed by machine. The recording, the transcript and the number you called from are emailed to our staff so we can return your call, and are kept only as long as we need them for that and for our records.

Writing to us

If you email us, we keep your message and address to answer you and as part of our records, as any office keeps its correspondence.

Who else sees it

We use service providers to run this website, our email and our telephone, and they handle information only to provide that service to us: a hosting and network provider for the website and for the service that relays voicemail, an email provider for our mail, and a telephone provider that carries calls and text messages and stores voicemail recordings. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with anyone else except as the law requires or as our own obligations require, for example with our accountants, auditors or funders' monitors.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling (808) 867-2008, emailing [email protected], or writing to Ability Resource, 643 Ilalo Street, Suite 1000, Honolulu, HI 96813. We will keep only what the law or our contracts require us to keep, and tell you if that applies.
